April 4th I check in at the imaging department at OHSU. On the 5th I rest and finish any and all last minute life stuff. The next day on the 6th of April I have my official surgery. I stay in the hospital overnight, then assuming all goes well a few days later they insert my power pack, then 2-3 weeks later I get plugged in and tuned up. They’ve provided 3 days worth of housing free of charged which is a blessing indeed . Unfortunately the who process is two surgeries and a recommended 30 day healing and stabilization period. These donations will go directly to the lodging and direct care that OHSU and insurance doesn’t cover. Any and all donations are impactful and I can’t express my gratitude and thanks for all of you. Please share the link even if you can’t help monitarily . All things done with love and light will be successful. Always and with some luck, science and faith I’ll see you all on the other side of this. If not please remember to always be brave be bold and thrive in the life you have.
The paintings above are all in their early stages of development so stay tuned 🙂
Sorry for the lack of words lately, life is moving far more quickly than I these days. I hope all of you are well and have enjoyed life since we last spoke. This week is very busy again for me, my annual neurology appointment at the big science center and then later in the week I’ve a full day tattoo appointment. Some great news came in the other day. I’ve been invited back to the OHSU Parkinson’s symposium, it’s an event that happens every other year and is by invitation only for artists with Parkinson’s and other related neurological disorders. It’s in September so I’ll keep people posted.
As always please be kind to each other for if not you then who??
Yes I know I’m a human too.. Maybe ….
😉 I must say it’s been one heck of a long day but I can kinda see the finish line, now granted I’m nowhere near it but I heard its up there so I’ll just keep pushing in until I see it. Had to make some last minute adjustment to tomorrow’s plan, darn that Murphy and his Law. I have to day it caught me off guard which is apparently pretty easy to do these days 😀
Thankfully the display easel powers of the universe were in my favor because after being getting a number of “I’m sorry they’ve all been rented” I called one last place and Bingo!! Amazingly I called at the right time because they were only going to be in the office for a short period and if I hurried right down we could talk about my needs for the show.
So right now you could say that I’m http://www.allstartents.com biggest fan. These guys truly saved my butt. You can’t do a table top and easel display show at all without the gear and literally at the last moment these guys came through. Here is a quick sneak peak at some of tomorrow’s art.
I was also able to get some small table top display easels
I’ll have the large easels behind a display table where I’ll have my press release and artists statement out for all to see.
Oh goodness I’m finally done, I started this adventure at 8am I still need to load the car but seriously that’s going to have to wait until tomorrow. I’d like to thank you all so much for you support without the kind words of strength and hope I receive daily I don’t know how I’d ever continue to do what I do.
