Late night paint….My Girls

Good morning, afternoon and evening. I hope the day has found you well and your heart is happy. Over the past 25 years I’ve only done a handful of these pieces but each one I do has a very special place in my heart. First let’s take a peek through the looking glass into the past.

#1 done some time in the late 80’s early 90’s honestly I can’t remember which.

This lady has different frame but I can’t seem to find the correct photo…

And last but not lest the image I started to apply I’m charcoal just a few hrs ago before nap time called 😉

As mentioned in a previous post this image is big
41.5″x48.5″
105+cm x 125+ cm
And now the hard part deciding what color palette she will be in? I have a gut feeling where I’m leaning as much of my work over the past week has been in the dark Blue/Green family but as with all of my pieces I need to wait until the muse strikes me.
Thank you for joining me in a little trip through my past and a look into the future. May your hearts desires be fulfilled.

  1. i love the beauty of the curves and lines and colors of your women. i can see that you clearly have an appreciation for the feminine form and all that it includes.

    • Thank you and yes I do, but also a deep respect. That’s part of the reason as of late the forms are more suggested female than clearly female. I feel there is enough objectification of women in the world and I don’t need to add to it.
