So I can finally say I’ve been paid for PDA. No I was not paid to make out in public. Public Display of Art lol.
Earlier today while I was out dropping some pieces off at the frame shop
Coral series Passions and Ribbons Series Threads of Love or Fils de Amour. So whilst out I received an email from the library letting me know that the piece they bought had just been hung so I swung by picked up the check and snapped a few pics to share. I can’t even begin to say what an honor it is to be amongst the generations of artist that are hanging in our Salem Public Library. It’s pretty cool. My daughter kind of out it in perspective for me when I came home I showed her the photos and she replied” wow! Dad I’m proud of you.
You have totally made your mark”.
Service announcement of the day. Now kids all those times your parents told you to stand up straight…… 😀 really I’m like completely all hunched in this photo kinda sad. Oh well I wanted to get the photo and it had been a long day I was/am very worn out. So besides just rambling at everybody about what my day was like, a day with Parkinson’s and Paint. This post has one really huge take away. Follow your dreams..
Don’t let anybody tell you it’s to late. Don’t listen to those little voices of doubt that creep in. Point yourself in the direction you want to go and start making it happen. Physically, mentally, spiritually or otherwise simply do it. So many of my dreams have come true as an artist over the last 3 years and not because I was “found” or overly promoted but simply because I made some very tough choices in a very tough period in my life and I decided that it was time to stop dreaming about who I wanted to be and start living the life I know I was born to live.
And you can do you same, I believe in you.
With all my heart and soul, thank you. Thank you for reading, commenting, “liking”,”following” however you you choose to leave your mark with me.
