Everyone needs to rant no & again! Hope you have a better day today
Thanks, today is turning out rather nice. Making roast garlic/chicken with a pancetta Alfredo sauce over angel hair pasta with fresh mushrooms. For the family’s dinner tonight, love to paint and love to cook. You have a great day as well.
Benjamin.
I wholeheartedly think Warhol was laughing all the way to the bank. That was the point. It was a ridiculous show of material and consumerism. Which is why I love it and which is why pop art got the rep it did. But people will always see what they need to. After years of being taught to be objective when I view and interpret art, the subjective heart still wins. That’s one of the many reasons art still interests and consumes me.
I would agree, Andy seized the moment and ran with it. And yes for me art must come from the soul or some deep place inside to have real content, either for the artist or the viewer. Anyhow PM meds calling me off to sleepy land. I hope you are well. Please stay in touch.
Benjamin.
Of course. Thank you for sharing with me. I’m glad you’re my friend and already a very dear one. Get some sleep sir! Our happy thoughts to you and your family.
I did read all of this page and you should actually keep updating it in my oppinion.
I think it would do you and us a lot of good.

I haven’t updated it in a long time, lots has changed I think since my last entry. I update my journeys page almost everyday though.
Benjamin, thank you for stopping and following my blog today. Everyone needs a rant. I know that has been said, but it is worthy of restating. I look forward to following your artistry.
Take care,
Ivon
benjamin, i thought i had dreamed this and still am not sure i saw.. anyway you are so right. the hypocrisy is flagrant in religion…so sad as we all could use faith, hope, charity.
and then for a day, people turn out and give and serve their fellow beings only to ignore them the rest of the time. it makes absolutely no sense to me. how could that make sense to anyone? i too have studied just about everything under the sun and have made my own sense of spirit. it works for me – sometimes – and when it doesn’t, it’s only because i am not paying attention.
well, i must sleep sometime soon before my eyeballs fall out. having some cocoa again…soothes the savage, you know. x
Coco is good, it’s time for me to start the coffee. And my AM pills. I hope sweet sleep came for you this morning my friend.
Always
Benjamin
I know you haven’t updated this yet, but I have to say I love it Benjamin. The words are astounding. I love a man that can write something so sexual without being dirty. It still stirs the body in the right way. But it stirs the mind too.
Thank you very much, I try not to ket it get to out of hand
B.
Honey, let them get out of hand. That’s what passion is. Feelings, bodies, words, everything getting out of hand and exploding.
We,ll see this new place will start slow as I do and grow and evolve into much more than it is now. I’ve been told by many a blushing miss I should write for a “magazine” but that just made me blush in its self lol. I have a very vivid clear picture of everything I write, I guess most do? So it’s easy to get carried away. …anyhow… It’s going to be interesting to say the least.
Benjamin
I love it all my dear. I do. Passion is more than words. It is. I can’t wait to see what you produce. I’m so excited to be a part of it.
…Road To Denver. Almost forgot, Sold.
I know but since that was a special piece it never went to the gallery, only in one post I think. But it turned out great so most certainly should go in the gallery 2 section.
Thanks
Special yes…but still a commissioned piece that shows off your great skills as a painter.
It looks nice up in my studio. Inspiring.
Thank you very very much
I appreciate that.
I love your art, Ben. You are truly uniquely creative. Such beautiful pieces that delight and satisfy. Rlte
Thank you very very much. I hope this day treats you well.
Always
Benjamin
Wow! Absolutely stunning! I could get lost in your paintings. I hope you continue to share your work here. Warmest wishes
Thank you very much!
Your work is astoundingly beautiful. I’m in awe!
Thank you ever so kindly, I’m humbled.
Sincerely
Benjamin
