    • Thanks, today is turning out rather nice. Making roast garlic/chicken with a pancetta Alfredo sauce over angel hair pasta with fresh mushrooms. For the family’s dinner tonight, love to paint and love to cook. You have a great day as well.
      Benjamin. :-)

  1. I wholeheartedly think Warhol was laughing all the way to the bank. That was the point. It was a ridiculous show of material and consumerism. Which is why I love it and which is why pop art got the rep it did. But people will always see what they need to. After years of being taught to be objective when I view and interpret art, the subjective heart still wins. That’s one of the many reasons art still interests and consumes me.

    • I would agree, Andy seized the moment and ran with it. And yes for me art must come from the soul or some deep place inside to have real content, either for the artist or the viewer. Anyhow PM meds calling me off to sleepy land. I hope you are well. Please stay in touch.
      Benjamin.

  2. Benjamin, thank you for stopping and following my blog today. Everyone needs a rant. I know that has been said, but it is worthy of restating. I look forward to following your artistry.

    Take care,

    Ivon

  3. benjamin, i thought i had dreamed this and still am not sure i saw.. anyway you are so right. the hypocrisy is flagrant in religion…so sad as we all could use faith, hope, charity.

and then for a day, people turn out and give and serve their fellow beings only to ignore them the rest of the time. it makes absolutely no sense to me. how could that make sense to anyone? i too have studied just about everything under the sun and have made my own sense of spirit. it works for me – sometimes – and when it doesn’t, it’s only because i am not paying attention.

well, i must sleep sometime soon before my eyeballs fall out. having some cocoa again…soothes the savage, you know. x

  4. I know you haven’t updated this yet, but I have to say I love it Benjamin. The words are astounding. I love a man that can write something so sexual without being dirty. It still stirs the body in the right way. But it stirs the mind too.

      • We,ll see this new place will start slow as I do and grow and evolve into much more than it is now. I’ve been told by many a blushing miss I should write for a “magazine” but that just made me blush in its self lol. I have a very vivid clear picture of everything I write, I guess most do? So it’s easy to get carried away. …anyhow… It’s going to be interesting to say the least.
        Benjamin
